Azelis announced the opening of a new CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers) la-boratory in Istanbul, Turkey. The new lab enables Azelis to accelerate the roll-out of CASE formu-lations and technical support to its customers in the region.

The key focus of the lab will be coatings including paints and varnishes, in industrial, decorative, marine, can and coil, wood coatings and other markets. This application lab complements Azelis’ CASE labs in Germany, Asia-Pacific and Americas, including its recently-opened lab in Mexico City.

“In addition to round-the-clock formulation, the lab will be utilized as both a teaching and learning facility,” said Stefan Hagenberg, Azelis senior technical development manager, CASE-EMEA. “We will work closely together with principals, customers, and our CASE team to bring new, in-novative formulations to the market.”
